A small, family-run Korean restaurant which serves the main traditional dishes, including Bulgogi, Bibimbap and soups and stews. The interior is well-kept, modern and simple, and has a larger room which can accomodate a larger group of 12-14 people. The Bulgogi Set menu is large and is one of the better values in Prague. If you're having the multiple-course set menu, be prepared for a longer meal, as the courses are served one at a time. Each set offers a starter -- kimchi, soup, kimchi pancakes or sometimes all three -- a main course of meat and vegetables, noodles and rice; finished with a small dessert of fruit or ice cream. Portions tend to be large. Sami also offers reasonably priced (and smaller sized) on-the-go lunch selections. A limited selection of sushi is available. Draught Krušovice is served; Heineken and Asahi are served by the bottle. A good selection of Korean and Japanese sake is available, at various prices. Korean Soju is also served. Note: the restaurant is closed on Mondays.
Recommended: Bulgogi Set; kimchi pancakes; Japche noodles; Kimchi-jjigae and rice.
