Asian cuisine served in a hip, stylish setting. The menu, while not extensive, has several pork / chicken / beef entrées, including a few traditional dishes. Most dishes lack the spice you would expect, or want, in Thai cuisine; subtract two chili peppers from any rating on the menu, and be sure to ask for extra spice if you want it in your meal. Only Stella Artois is served on draught. On most nights a DJ spins a mix of chill-out music. While the tables inside are often situated very close to each other, the outdoor garden is spacious and quiet. The service usually leaves a bit to be desired.

  1. Our lunch at Noi was good. It was not too busy (for a Saturday), so service was good and prompt. The Tom Yam Kai was nothing special -- spicy enough had plenty of chicken but short on mushrooms, tomatoes and red chilies. The Kang Phed Moo was good - probably the best meal I've had at Noi -- a nice mix of curry and coconut, plenty of tender pork and plenty of vegetables. Without the usual evening-time DJ spinning ear-numbing beats, Noi can be a very relaxing and enjoyable place.

  2. The Hor Mok Pla Salmon was tasty, but maybe a little overcooked; it wasn't flaky and was a bit dry; but the curry paste is a nice flavour with the salmon.
