Always a diverse selection of specialty beers made with herbs, fruits or nuts, along with the standard light, amber and dark beers, brewed on location. You won't find these beers sold in retail stores -- the brewery is the only place to get them. The food is good, but not great -- all of the traditional Czech favourites: pork and dumplings; potato soup; duck breast and cabbage. Your taste buds will enjoy the beer sampler, six small samples of the beers being brewed. Some are better than others, but all are worth a taste. While the crowd tends to be foreigners on holiday, the atmosphere is lively and friendly. The understaffed service team works quite hard to keep people happy. The brewery accomodates large groups: but it's best to make a reservation in advance for a group larger than 4. Set menus are available -- and recommended for large groups to ensure prompot service. Or if you're not hungry, simply sample a few small glasses of beer at the bar and watch the crowd.

Recommended: beer sampler (in particular: sour cherry beer; nettle beer; dark lager); potato dumplings stuffed with smoked pork and sauerkraut; Bohemia Platter (roast and smoked pork, sauerkraut, red cabbage)
