A small family-run restaurant that serves Korean and Japanese mainstays at prices more reasonable than it's competitors. The Kimchi is fresh but not overly spicy. There are a selection of well-priced sushi plates to choose from -- which usually don't include a lot of vebetable or mayonaise-based rolls. What you'll get is a healthy portion of fresh fish and seasfood with no-frills presentation. Pilsner Urquell is served in the bottle, as well as a limited number of Japanese beers. Having only six tables, the service is prompt and friendly. On selected nights you might be treated to the owners' four year-old daughter's singing, or screams, or both.
Recommended: beef Bulgogi; hot stone bowl beef and noodles.
